Gotta Have it Grill: Southern Soul Food American Restaurant in Gardena, CA

The service was good even though the young lady had a lot going on, she was very personable and friendly. The food was good overall, but the Mac and cheese was mid at best. The restaurant and bathroom were clean which is always a good time. I would try again for sure.

It was okay I got 10 wings, greens and macaroni and cheese Five wings, salmon, macaroni and cheese and yams. There is a photo.

Its hit or miss I orded about 10 times I used to love the potato salad, but i guess they changed up and started to add something sour like relish or pickle juice.

Look it was busy ima be real but don’t let that outside appearance scare you away gota have it grill is a 10/10 if you not from the hood you won’t understand this shit is fire I’m definitely coming back that fried salmon was fire the greens an macaroni everything was on point definitely coming back man the fried shrimp was prefect

I got the sweet chili wings, bbq beans, and greens. The sides really stole the show. The beans were really tasty and the greens were literally perfect. I’d eat here again, for sure.

Food was delicious. The pork chops and catfish was yummy… customer Service was great. Oh I almost forgot don’t forget to get your crack bread.

The food is on 10 here!!! Delicious and cheesy Mac and cheese. The yams have the perfect amount of sweetness. Get that fried salmon. I really enjoyed it and add some chili oil to give it a kick and flavor. Their wings go crazy. I like the spicy honey but also enjoyed the garlic Parmesan. That strawberry banana pudding is next level. The baked beans and the collard greens are also tasty. You guys should check this place out. The staff is amazing. They have room to sit down and eat. Perfect place for family, date or takeout.

We wanted something different and came here. Placed order and waited 30 minutes for our food. I order Wings & Shrimp with Mac and cheese with potato salad and he order the smothered pork chop BBQ beans with Mac and cheese. Everything was good except for the wings. There were small and expected them to be bigger. The cashier was very friendly and informative. And last the banana pudding was the bomb! If you’re starving I recommend call and order ahead. If you’re patient then order in person and watch a movie while waiting. This meal felt like it was homemade and it hit the spot! lol Hope my review helps, Enjoy!
